Это метод теплового лечения, при котором используют лечебные грязи. Лечебная грязь есть результат сложных многолетних процессов — под влиянием факторов геологической, климатической, гидрогеологической (геохимической), биологической (химико-биологической) и др. природы. Материалом для образования лечебных грязей служат минеральные частицы, органические вещества (остатки растительных и животных организмов), коллоидные частицы органического и неорганического состава, вода.

Формирование грязей происходит под воздействием микроорганизмов, число которых может достигать 1 млрд и более в 1 г сухой грязи. В результате биохимических процессов, протекающих с их участием, грязи лечебные обогащаются так называемыми биогенными компонентами (соединения углерода, азота, серы, железа и др.), многие из которых (например сероводород) проявляют высокую терапевтическую активность.

При аппликации грязью повышается температура тканей, но кроме теплового воздействия, грязь оказывает и химическое влияние на организм, раздражая термо и хеморецепторы, заложенные в коже. В результате проникновения некоторых химических веществ через неповрежденную кожу грязь оказывает стимулирующее действие на систему соединительной ткани, на функцию желёз внутренней секреции, усиливает кровоснабжение кожи и местных патологических очагов, способствует усилению обмена веществ, регенеративных и репаративных процессов, оказывает обезболивающее, рассасывающее и десенсибилизирующее действие.

Гальваногрязелечение

Это одновременное использование лечебной грязи и электрического тока (гальванизации). Такое сочетание оказывает наиболее благотворное воздействие на организм человека.Впервые предложено в 1913 г. А.А. Лозинским и до сих пор считается эффективным способом лечения больных.

По сравнению с грязелечением сочетанный метод не только обеспечивает дополнительное воздействие активным физическим фактором, каким является гальванический ток, но и способствует введению в организм содержащихся в грязи ионов, повышая тем самым химический компонент ее действия. Кроме того метод достаточно экономичен, так как для его осуществления требуется сравнительно небольшое количество лечебной грязи.

Наряду с противовоспалительным и рассасывающим эффектом гальваногрязелечение оказывает выраженное трофическое действие, нормализует обменные процессы, повышает защитные силы организма, усиливая его иммунобиологический потенциал, расширяет сосуды и улучшает кровообращение в глубокорасположенных органах и тканях.

Показания:

Болезни опорно-двигательного аппарата; ревматизм (не ранее, чем через 6-7 месяцев после острой атаки); хронический ревматоидный полиартрит; инфекционные и не специфические полиартриты; дистрофические (неинфекционные) полиартриты; оста-точные явления после травм суставов; остеомиелиты; заболевания мочеполовой системы у мужчин; заболевания женских половых органов, в том числе хронические воспалительные процессы и бесплодие; спастические запоры; хронические гепатохолециститы; спаечные процессы. Многие заболевания и последствия травм периферической нервной системы, особенно: радикулиты, плекситы, полиневриты, невриты — инфекционные, ревматические, на почве отравлений; последствия полиомиелита у детей. С большим успехом грязелечение применяется при многих хирургических, оториноларингологических, глазных и кожных заболеваниях.

Противопоказания:

Кровотечения любого происхождения; активный туберкулёз любых органов и тканей; опухоли; повышенная температура; беременность всех сроков; крайнее истощение организма и упадок сил; нарушение сердечной компенсации, стенокардия, митральный стеноз, мерцательная аритмия, выраженный атеросклероз и др.
